OCIA
About
Are you searching for a deeper relationship with God? Whether you have never been baptized, were baptized in another Christian tradition, or were baptized Catholic but never received the sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist, OCIA is your path to full communion with the Catholic Church.
Is OCIA for You?
The OCIA process is designed for adults who find themselves at various stages of their spiritual journey:
- The Unbaptized: Those seeking to encounter Christ through the Sacraments of Initiation (Baptism, Confirmation, and Eucharist).
- Baptized Christians: Those baptized in another faith tradition who now wish to become Catholic.
- Baptized Catholics: Adults who were baptized as infants but have not yet been catechized or received the sacraments of Confirmation and First Holy Communion.
What to Expect
This is more than just a class; it is a period of reflection, prayer, and discovery. Together, we explore the beauty of the Catholic faith, the wisdom of Sacred Scripture, and the traditions of the Church in a supportive, welcoming environment.
