Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist

An extraordinary minister of the Eucharist (EME) is just that: a layperson commissioned by the pastor to assist with Holy Communion at Sunday Masses, especially when there are insufficient number of clergy and/or deacons to assist, i.e., in "extraordinary" circumstances. The EME is also called upon to bring Communion to homebound parishioners on Sundays. If you think you are being called by the Lord to assist the parish in this way, please call the parish office or speak to a member of the pastoral staff.
