June 23, 2021I am very pleased to announce that Pat Keck, our parish Coordinator of Religious Education has completed the ELM Leadership Formation Program of the Office of Education, Evangelization, and Catechesis as of June 17, 2021. This program is an 18 month process of human, spiritual, intellectual and pastoral formation for those serving in parish ministry. Each participant was required to take six courses from the University of Notre Dame’s step program as well courses in the OEEC‘s office in Bloomfield, to have a mentor to assist in the reflection and growth in theological understanding, formation days for prayer and reflection, and provide written reflections on the work completed. Kelly Henderschedt, the Archdiocesan Director of Faith Formation commended Pat highly in her commitment to the program and her personal faith development. It is my honor and privilege to announce that Pat will now have the position of Director of Religious Education (DRE) for the parish. I highly value Pat’s work on behalf of faith formation for all of our parishioners. We are blessed as a parish by her faith commitment and dedication to serving.
