October 2, 2023I wish to express my thanks to the Parish for helping me celebrate forty years of service to the Archdiocese of Hartford as a Deacon. I wish to thank Fr. Golas, Fr. Bruno, Fr. Mathew, Fr. Edward Przygocki MSA, Dcn. Paul and Dcn. James for their support. The music provided by Diane and the Contemporary Choir enhanced the liturgical celebration reminding me of my first Mass as an Assisting Deacon.
Many thanks to Vicki Mitchell for organizing the luncheon, the Parish Council and the Women’s Guild for serving. A special thanks goes to Jen Jarvis and Dave Mart who added to the luncheon festivities with their gif of music.
I am grateful for all who came and for their prayers and well wishes. Please know that you are always in my prayers. Nell and I were overwhelmed to see and to chat with so many of you. May God continue to extend his blessings on us all.
